Here is a set of images I have taken of water being poured into a jug. Here is a list of the equipment I used:
-2 clear, glass jugs(to pour water from one to the other) -Nikon D3100(Camera) -Studio Lights(to brighten up the water/to make the water visible) -Clear and coloured water -Tripod(to keep the camera still) -A tray to catch leaked water(to stop any wires getting damaged) Here are some images I have taken of the setup using the same camera I used to take the images... I positioned the camera infront of the jug and put the studio light behind and slightly to the left. The reason why I put the studio light to the left slightly was so that it was out of shot. From this I could use colours and different types of liquid such as oil so that the liquid is more viscous. I could even pour water onto that oil where the two liquids will eventually seperate and be two different colours sitting next to eachother. I could also use the idea of dropping some paint into water and taking pictures of it as it slowly spreads and colours all of the liquid.
